Bio

Ms. Pastor primarily began training for voice work at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's VO Lab.  
Recently, she completed the improv Comedy program at UCB-United Citizens Brigade.
Since relocating to sunny Palm Springs, CA, Laurie can work remotely from her broadcast-quality home studio but is always just a hop, skip and a jump away from L.A. for in-person studio work.

Born in Hollywood, Laurie grew up acting in school & community stage productions. She studied acting for film & TV with Roy London and Stella Adler Conservatory. 
Transitioning to voice acting, she now pursues genres such as commercials, documentary narration, e-Learning, animation and audiobooks. 
Laurie's debut audiobook was published during the 2023/24 Holiday Season ("Sky" by J.R. Caldwell), a cozy mystery novel about the joys of fatherhood and "love lost-love found." Find it on iTunes, Audible, and Amazon.com
A natural storyteller, she is excited about the voices she can create for her next project to help companies tell their stories & connect with audiences. Via her acting background, she can supply a professional, charismatic voice, crafted to engage the listener.

An expert knitter, devotee of dance, art, theater, film and music, Laurie is also a big classic movie fan, especially Film Noir.  She adores vintage fashion, Art Deco design, hand-drawn animation and the graphic arts. She has dabbled as a creator in the fields of photography, fashion illustration, mixed-media collage, needle arts, sewing, wardrobe styling, graphic design & vintage fashion collecting/curation & sales.  

More loves:  Vintage radio dramas, modern architecture, Mid-century Mod Everything, cooking and baking, tending a patio herb garden (a joy!), and baseball (Go Dodgers!).  Kind of an Artsy-Fartsy type, she also possesses good business sense from her past experiences as an entrepreneur and a legal assistant.
